Product Description

Stories of near-death experiences, including some dramatic reenactments, abound on this hour-long tape hosted by Joseph Campanella and peppered with interviews of authors on the subject, most notably Raymond Moody (Life After Life). Guardian angels, prayer groups, and other religious topics are discussed unabashedly, although Christians might want to note that issues of mysticism are also discussed. Two authors who wrote about their own near-deaths provide the video with its most riveting moments, particularly Dannion Brinkley (Saved by the Light), who had not one, but two such experiences. In between stories, viewers are treated to quotes on life and the afterlife by historic figures ranging from Buddha to Dante to Mahatma Ghandi. Survivors claim that the most important part of a near-death experience is the life review, as in the cliché "My life passed before my eyes." Viewers of this tape may be inspired to conduct their own life review--without the near-death part. --Kimberly Heinrichs

Revealing

When you see programs about the life hereafter, you have to wonder about the validity of the message. This program has a basic honesty and validity that is hard to refute. The people who have been there and back again have powerful messages, like Grace Bulbuka, who swears she was in the presence of God when she "died". Dr. Melvin Morse, a pediatrician, tells of several children under his care who died and were resusitated. Children have no axe to grind; they have no pre-conceived notions; they have no pre-programmed descriptions of what lies ahead after death, and yet, these children give us chilling details of what it's like to die and what awaits us. This video tells a fascinating story. It is a story that may be the most important one of all. We all will die some day. What will happen at that moment of death? This video has one possible answer. It's an intriguing answer and one that many people have embraced, especially those who have already been through the dying process.
Inspiring message

A key point brought out in this video is that those who have had a near-death experience are no longer afraid of death. After viewing the program I understand, probably not to the same degree, but this program has given me comforting information about what to expect when I die, and I'm not as fearful as I once was of dying. Watching this program is a beneficial way of spending one hour of your time.

Well, I watched this & have to say it wan't that impressive. I was expecting it to glorify God a lot more than it did, and all but 1 person that they interviewed seemed kinda, I don't know, unemotional. They should have been jumping up & down, but they all kinda just sat there, talking. I think the biggest problem w/ this movie was they kinda made it seem that PEOPLE were being glorified instead of our Lord. Dannion Brinkley has been on another movie I saw once telling about his experiences, I find his account very fascinating. I really didn't care too much for this particular movie, sorry.
