Perfect Journal

Review Date: March 18, 2008
Reviewer: Michael Lafrinere,
I have been writing in this journal for a few weeks now and I am very happy with it over-all. It has blank pages which I really like, but you can also get lined paper from the manufacturer. I like the blank pages though, because it gives me room to do what ever I want to inside the book, including doodles and diagrams if I wish. The pages are kind of thick, so I know the pages won't rip. It does't have a place to keep a pen, so I just wrap it inside the book when I close it. The old leather look that it has also gets peoples attention, so it has become somewhat of a conversation piece every time someone sees it. The leather wrappings keep people from quickly looking into it when I am not around. They are usually afraid they might damage it or mess something up just by the way it looks. Over-all, I like the journal a lot and plan to buy another one just like it when this one is finished.
A Timeless Treasure

This journal is, in a word, exquisite. In a sentence, it is a remarkable piece of durable craftsmanship and thoughtful artistry--you really have to see and feel it to believe it. I can see this journal sticking with me until I die.

I'm personally using mine as a personal 'bucket list' of sorts, and a journal/log to record my achievements. One bound section of handmade paper is for the list (anything and everything that I truly want to do in my life), and the next section is for recording those memories. With each list item crossed of a journal entry captures the moment.

This journal is worth its price--good luck finding a similar product elsewhere! Kudos to the RogueJournals staff for their simply excellent work.
Beautiful!!

I really love this journal. It is beautiful and has a great "worn" look to it. If I had to change anything about this journal, I would make it longer and a little wider. I was expecting a huge book and it's actually a normal size. I still give it five stars because it's a great journal and I already find joy in writing in it. Get this journal, it won't disappoint.
Amazing and Beautiful

This journal is everything you hope for in a leather journal. I waited for a long time before I actually bought it, but now that I have it, I'm glad I do. It's almost surreal. I'm only sad because I know one day it will be full, and I won't be able to use it anymore.

A great journal. It's got a lot of personality, and character. It inspires my imagintion. Lovely the way it's made, so it's very fun.
Great Journal

Reviewer: Rory Starks,
What a great journal! I'm 54 years old and decided to start writing down things I've learned over the years. I hope to fill the journal and leave it to my children . . . and grandchildren . . . and great grandchildren . . . you get the picture.

Every time I open this journal to write in it I feel as though I'm a scribe writing wisdom down from my life, to be shared with future generations. It's a humbling, yet exciting feeling. I love this journal.
