I ordered this item off Rogue Journals main website. I had been looking through their site the past few months to find a journal for my boyfriends birthday. This one just so happened to go on sale when I went to order, with free personalization! Their products are a little pricey but now that I have the journal in my possession, every $1 you spend is worth it.
Just the smell of leather after opening was enough for me to know it is genuine. The personal embossing is beautiful! I chose the natural parchment paper as an added heritage/heirloom look and I just love the way it presents in the pages; acid free ( preserves longer)and made from the bark of a Mulberry. (no trees are destroyed in the making of this paper)
This journal would make a beautiful gift to anyone. I can't wait to see his reaction! Now all I need is a really great writing utensil to compliment the journal.

| Good size. My only complaint would be how the pages were bound in multiple sections instead of one. It makes the journal look a little odd. |
