The Real Deal

| These journals are definately the real deal. I've seen them in bookstores at twice the price they are on Amazon. I absolutlely love mine although when I bought it I still had my doubts. I was expecting something cheesy and thrown together but got the complete opposite. The picture they have does not do it justice. It truly looks like an old guilded addition. The paper inside is top quality and there is plenty of room write or just doodle. You can put this on your bookself and no one will realize its a journal. It great for any aspiring writers in your family too. Just the right size to stuff in a book bag or purse to carry it with you everywhere. |

Normally, I'm the type of woman who gets a very silly journal year to year. Sock monkeys, Emily the Strange, and so forth, but this one caught my eye and I decided, why not? I'm almost 40.
It is really well constructed with a nice hard binding. The paper is lined perfectly for my taste (not college-ruled) and doesn't bleed through. For the price, I thought it was extremely nice. |
Very nice journal

| This was purchased as a gift for a niece who loves to write. I was very happy with the look and durability of the journal. Very nice for the price. |

I got this based on the picture and was expecting it to match the color, but it's more of a red-brown than a purple-brown. Color aside the journal seems pretty well made, and the paper is a nice cream color. I was a little disappointed with how wide-ruled it is (I prefer something closer to college ruled), but decided to use my Sheaffer Intrigue fountain pen with it, because the medium nib on my pen creates a fairly wet, broad line.
I see a little bit of feathering with Noodler's bullet proof polar black, but I can't tell if that's the paper, the ink, or how wet my pen writes. I don't see any feathering with black Uniball Vision fine point, or Pilot Precision v7 roller ball pens, so I suspect it's one of the latter. The paper's thick and opaque enough that even with the thick wet line from my Intrigue, there's no show through. |
Great little book

| The quality and design of this little journal is great. I'm reluctant to give it a perfect 5, but I can't really think of anything that is inadequate about it. I mean it's a bunch of lined paper, fitted into an attractive binding and cover. Exactly what you need in a journal and then some. I'll probably pick up a few more as this one gets filled. |

| This looked even better then I had thought it would. I gave it to my Mom for Mother's Day, and she loved it! |

| I absolutely love this journal, the pages are nice and thick and the design on the front is very beautiful. I only wish the lines were easier to see, at night sometimes it's hard to see where they are. But other than that I love it! |

Abre casi completamente plano. Su disen~o es hermoso. |
